A stylised painting of buildings in Bologna in a dominantly warm palette of ochres yellows and terracotta giving it a sunlit atmosphere. There are small shuttered windows and doors in blues and greys contrasting with the terracotta roof tiles. The buildings are overlapping in a flattened abstract manner giving a maze like appearance.
